Our services provide an alternative to boarding or kenneling, so that your pet may remain in the comfort and familiarity of his or her own home. Dog Paws 'N Cat Claws Pet Care offers services for all types of pets (even exotics!). We will customize any service to fit your needs.

Doggie DayCare & Boarding - NOW OPEN!!!
Dog Paws 'n Cat Claws Pet Care is proud to announce the opening of our first doggie daycare in Arlington, VA. Dog Paws University boasts seven thousand square feet of indoor play area with multiple zones so your pup can benefit from socialization and exercise with dogs of similar size, age and temperament. Each play zone has its own primary supervisor and floating daycare assistants move from zone to zone to assist. Each dog will have many opportunities throughout the day to take short walks outside for bathroom breaks so that house-breaking is reinforced even while your dog is in daycare!
Cage-Free Boarding
Going out of town and want your pet to get that extra care, socialization and play-time while your gone? Dog Paws University is excited to offer cage-free boarding for your dog. Regular outside dog walks are included at no extra cost! Contact us today to check availability & make your reservation.

When you come in to pick up your pet, we encourage you to cruise through our retail store where you can find a full selection of healthy, unique, and environmentally friendly products for your dog or cat. All of our pet foods and treats feature the highest quality ingredients, are manufactured domestically and have never been involved in any of the recent government recalls. Our knowledgeable staff will be happy to assist you with any questions you may have: from choosing the right food for you pet based on their metabolic needs, to choosing the perfect toy that will endure hours of play and interaction!
If you would like to have your dog groomed on site, our grooming center will open shortly after the daycare and retail store, so check back with us soon!!! Daily Dog Walking
We provide several options for daytime dog walks so that your dog(s) can get the exercise they need while you are away. For most clients, we recommend the 20-30 minute walk; however, please call us to discuss dog walking options based on breed, age, health and exercise requirements of your dog. We will walk your dog in the area that you specify, clean up after him or her, and feed and/or water at your request. Mid-day dog walking occurs Monday through Friday between 10:30 am and 3:30 pm. We walk all dogs individually so that your dog gets the special attention he or she deserves- we do not walk dogs in packs!
*Please note that our daily dog walking services will not be scheduled on any federal holidays and/or days observed by the federal government. If you are in need of serves during these days you must make a special request for a Pet Sitting Visit (info below). Please make your requests as soon as possible as schedules fill up quickly!
In-Home Pet Care
Dog Paws 'n Cat Claws Pet Care currently offers a wide range of in-house pet services. From visits while you are at work to multiple visits a day to over night services. Contact us today to get more information and to customize a package to fit your needs.
